CURATE GROWTH #14
A play on words!
Here is a list of links to the things I have read, heard or watched this week that I feel help to support growth, develop integrative leaders, foster employee enlightenment and embody mindful marketing. Or, it was something I just thought was cool!
I am a fan of almost anything that Bruce Kasanoff writes. This is such a cool piece on how often leaders are wrong. The conventional wisdom of the time may prove to be misguided in reflection. Hindsight is 20/20. I would highly suggest reading this and any other work by Bruce.
I am a big believer in the benefits of getting up early. You start the day when the world is quiet. You get a jump start on most and you get a sense that the whole day is in front of you. Lolly does a nice job of making the case and I find this a valuable read.
Tanveer Naseer had former Microsoft President and Chief Xbox officer Robbie Bach as guest blogger and he put together these critical factors for building the right team. He talks about culture, execution, diversity and other key ingredients. Definitely worth the read.
This article is just a very personal and powerful reminder of the importance of saying what needs to be said to those that matter most. I felt given the season, this message needed to be shared. Pick up the phone and call that person you need to let know that you are thinking of them. Do it now!
As a long time industry watcher, I found this an interesting development. There was a lot of capital spent against this venture and big plans for taking the industry by storm. It just proves that it is very hard to find the white space in mature, developed categories such as cup yogurt.
